Natasha has a connection with Asia that most expatriates will never experience. After the huge Tsunami of 2004, she worked to raise money and sponsorships on behalf of children affected by the disaster. As a director of Harmonikids (a charity bringing music to special needs children), she was instrumental in the organization’s post-tsunami campaign.
Back in the corporate world, Natasha has specialized in communications and conflict resolution. An Australian, she hails from Manly, a suburb of Sydney famed for its beaches. Her early work experiences could hardly have been more different – one of her first jobs was in a ski resort!
She moved to Shanghai with her partner in 2006. ‘Relocating here from Australia with has given me a unique insight into the needs of expats relocating,’ she tells us. ‘Shanghai is so different – the crowds, colors, strange foods, language. Newcomers really need the support of someone who knows their way around, knows the local housing scene, and can help get you settled quickly.
She looks forward to meeting you on your first days in China.
