Natasha is international in the widest sense. Born in London to Russian parents, she was educated in both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere; in Britain and Australia. She has travelled extensively in Europe, the Pacific Rim, and South America, and has lived in London, Paris, Zurich, Melbourne, Sydney and most recently, the Bay Area.
‘I married an Italian who grew up in South Africa and has the travel bug.’ Natasha has spent many years working freelance in publishing and as an art curator in various parts of the world.
‘Having relocated many times with three children,’ she says ‘I know first hand how overwhelming it can be to move to a new country. Life in the Silicon Valley area is fun and challenging at the same time. Finding a home, acclimatizing, buying a car with no credit history, finding a school or (if a partner) a part-time job, can be daunting. Having said that, once you get over the initial hurdles, you will find that California has much to offer. There are beautiful beaches to visit all year round, great skiing, superb food and wine, wonderful art galleries and museums – the list goes on and on.’
Natasha looks forward to welcoming newcomers and helping them through the maze.
