Prague Destination Consultant

US citizen
Jennifer has become so at home in the Czech Republic that she is now a permanent resident and intends to take Czech citizenship shortly. As a qualified interpreter, with international experience, she is also an ideal destination consultant, ready to take new arrivals through the complexities of setting up home in Prague.
Jennifer worked briefly in Washington DC on graduation. There she met her Czech husband, and relocated with him to Prague in 1991. Initially working in the corporate sector, she moved on to education, and has been instrumental in developing English curricula for pre-school children in several schools in the city. She is also a site administrator for the largest expatriate website in the country.
‘I was an army kid,' she tells us. 'I lived in Germany as a child while my father worked on a US Air Force base. So moving here was perhaps less of a culture shock. There is so much to experience,’ she says. ‘The architecture is stunning and you feel as though you have stepped back in time. But relocating can be tricky for those who don’t speak Czech or have limited experience of Czech culture.’
She looks forward to helping you break through those barriers.
