Gabi has seen more of the world than most people. She has worked for Lufthansa, the German national airline, for 20 years. She has spent time as an expatriate in St. Petersburg, Tel Aviv, Chicago, Geneva, India and London.
After growing up in Germany, Gabi finished her education in Geneva and Munich, and worked in various roles until taking up a position with Lufthansa. She remained active in other pursuits, including learning Russian and as membership secretary of the International Women’s Club in St. Petersburg.
‘There is some beautiful housing in Frankfurt,’ she says, ‘but you have to know how to search for it. And since it’s not unusual to have to supply anything from your own light fittings to wardrobes, it helps to have an aide who can negotiate with landlords and help get your apartment ready for habitation.’ This is just one of the many forms of assistance that Gabi can offer on your relocation to Germany.
