Walthea met her Irish husband while he was working in the U.S. She was originally from Bryn Mawr in Pennsylvania, although she had moved to Albany, New York by the time of her move across the pond to Ireland.
It was 11 years ago when her husband took up a post as a Physicist at Dublin’s prestigious center-city Trinity College. She now feels nearly as Irish as the Irish themselves, and is in a unique position to mediate between the local culture and the urgent needs of newly-arrived expatriates re-rooting in Dublin.
