Meet Susan

Barcelona Destination Consultant

Susan has dual British-Spanish nationality, although born in Britain. She is a long-term resident of Barcelona.

She has worked over the years as an Interpreter for the British and the American Consulate in Barcelona, when each had Commercial sections. She has also worked on Trade Missions and in Trade shows, liaising with international companies exhibiting in Spain.

She was also involved with the film industry for a period, as well as working as an interpreter for the American embassy. Versality and effective corporate liaison have been keywords. She also belongs to the British Society of Catalunya and the International Womens' Club Barcelona (IWCB).

'It's important when arriving in Spain to have support,' she says, 'particularly if you don't speak the language and have never yet experienced Spanish bureaucracy.' Susan is ideally placed to support assignees to the city.
